Living Room Remodel in Charlotte, NC – Custom Millwork & Fireplace Feature Wall

Project Overview

This living room remodel in Charlotte, NC elevated the home’s interior with high-end finishes and custom craftsmanship. Brigmon Construction focused on enhancing the main living space and staircase with detailed millwork, new flooring, and a stunning fireplace feature wall that serves as the focal point of the room.

The Existing Space

The living room lacked architectural detail and character, with outdated flooring, basic trim, and minimal visual impact. The staircase and surrounding areas did not reflect the level of finish the homeowner was looking for.

The Challenge

• Outdated flooring and finishes
• Lack of architectural detail throughout the space
• Need for cohesive design between living room and staircase
• Desire for a strong focal point within the room

The goal was to transform the space with custom details and create a more refined, high-end feel.

The Solution

Brigmon Construction upgraded the living room with new cherry hardwood flooring, adding warmth and richness to the space. Doors and windows were redone and enhanced with custom moldings, creating a more polished and cohesive look throughout.

Extensive custom millwork was installed, including detailed moldings along the ceiling and staircase to elevate the architectural character of the home. A new fireplace was added, flanked by custom-built bookshelves and cabinetry that span the entire wall, creating a built-in feature that combines both style and functionality.
