Basement Remodel in Charlotte, NC – Custom Entertainment Space with Bar & Kitchen

Project Overview

This basement remodel in Charlotte, NC transformed an unfinished, underutilized space into a fully customized entertainment area. Brigmon’s Construction reimagined the basement from the ground up, incorporating a full kitchen, bar features, and a brand-new bathroom to create the ultimate space for hosting and relaxation.

The Existing Space

The basement was stripped down to its core, with exposed framing and structural elements that limited both design flexibility and usability. It lacked defined purpose and modern functionality.

The Challenge

• Basement taken down to the studs for a full rebuild
• Structural “I” beam that needed to be incorporated into the design
• No existing kitchen or bathroom infrastructure
• Need to create a cohesive entertainment-focused layout

The goal was to transform the space into a high-end, functional environment without compromising structural integrity.

The Solution

Brigmon’s Construction completed a full basement renovation, starting with a clean slate and building the space back with a purpose-driven design. Special attention was given to the structural “I” beam, integrating it seamlessly into the overall layout without disrupting the flow of the space.

The new design includes a fully functional kitchen and bar area, complete with modern appliances, a wet bar, wine fridge, beer tap, and dedicated storage for glassware. A custom island with bar seating was installed to create a central gathering point.

A brand-new bathroom was added to enhance convenience and usability, making the space fully self-contained for entertaining. The layout also accommodates a pool table, creating a complete recreational environment.
